Hidden Fell Escapes is part of a proud farming tradition that spans three generations here on Jeffrey Hill, in the heart of Lancashire’s Forest of Bowland. While we’re no longer dairy farming in a big way, our working farm remains full of life — home to 16,000 free-range chickens and a “bed and breakfast” for cows who come to winter with us.

At the heart of it all is The Granary — once a stone barn, now lovingly transformed into a warm and welcoming space for catering, workshops, and creative events. It’s here that our story of food and friendship truly comes to life, filled each week with laughter, local ingredients, and a generous helping of imagination.

Annie’s catering journey began in 2021 and has grown into a thriving local business, proudly employing a talented team from the surrounding area. Hospitality runs deep in her family — her grandparents were in the trade too — and this next chapter brings everything full circle: a lifetime of hosting, cooking, and caring for people, now poured into Hidden Fell Escapes.
