Our unique Granary workshop space hosts a range of engaging experiences—from candle making and floristry to sculpture and seasonal crafts—designed to inspire and soothe the soul. And at the heart of it all is a celebration of local community, creative spirit, and wholesome food.
One such local gem is The Lovely Cow Shed, our onsite catering and events business born from resilience and passion. Founded in April 2021, it began during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. After losing both my best friend and my job, I found healing and purpose through food. A simple grazing table shared with family sparked overwhelming support from my café customers on Facebook—and that spark grew into something more.

Today, The Lovely Cow Shed operates from a commercial kitchen on our family farm in Thornley, complete with a beautiful adjoining workshop. Named in loving memory of my husband’s cherished 20-year-old dairy cow, Lovely, the business is a tribute to her and the strong sense of community that surrounds us.
Enjoy thoughtfully curated grazing tables, catered workshops, and special events—all crafted with love, local produce, and a touch of country magic.
